The recent research work based on targeted delivery of Peptide Nucleic Acid (PNA) to kidneys using pH low insertion peptide (pHLIP) technology has been published in JCI Insights. The research work “Genetic deficiency or pharmacological inhibition of miR-33 protects from kidney fibrosis” was performed in collaboration with Dr. Carlos Fernández-Hernando at the Yale University School of Medicine.

Welcome Aniket Wahane to Bahal lab!

We are excited to welcome Aniket Wahane as a new Ph.D. student to our lab. Aniket finished his Bachelor’s of Technology in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India and his Master’s of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Northeastern University, Boston.
