Graduate student Shipra Malik’s abstract got selected for 2021 American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) Best Abstract Award

Congratulations to Shipra as her abstract got selected for 2021 American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) Best Abstract Award. Her work published in Journal of Controlled Release entitled as “Nanoparticle Delivered Short Anti-miR PNAs for Lymphoma Therapy” was ranked in the top 10% of abstracts by the AAPS Abstract Screening Committee.

Graduate student Aniket Wahane received third place for Academic Research Award at AAPS-NERDG 2021 annual meeting on April 16, 2021

Aniket Wahane presented his research titled “Physico-biochemical and in vivo evaluations of cell-permeable poly-L-histidine patched nanoparticles” at AAPS-Northeastern Regional Discussion Group (NERDG) 2021 annual meeting. He was awarded third place for Academic Research Award at the conference.

Dr. Bahal presented his work titled “Therapeutic targeting of RNAs for the development of precision medicine” at University of North Carolina, Eshelman School of Pharmacy, as a part of “Rising Stars in Drug Delivery and Novel Carriers” zoom seminar series on Feb 22, 2021. Dr. Bahal highlighted the development of RNA-based precision medicine by targeting non-coding RNAs for the treatment and diagnosis of cancer & other diseases.

Graduate student Shipra Malik’s abstract titled “Nanoparticle delivered short anti-miR PNAs for lymphoma therapy” was selected for an oral presentation and a cash prize for the prestigious “2021 RNA Institute Mini-Symposium series” at University at Albany, SUNY. Dr. Michael Morris Rosbash (Nobel Prize recipient in Physiology 2017) is keynote speaker in this conference. Congratulations Shipra!!!
